Thinking About... Siblings. Growing up it was just me and my younger bro. We were tight. BFFs and always had each other's back. It was and still is a close relationship.

Charlie, My son, is now 8 months old and I am seeing the Sis-Bro relationship unfold.  I love my children so much.

I didn't know I could love more...then I married Mike....I didn't know I could love more...then I had Gigi...I didn't know I could love more...then I had Charlie...I didn't know I could love more and then I saw the relationship form between siblings and my heart sings, rejoices, overflows.

The beauty of relationship that God created is truly a wonderful truth to behold.

Love in action.

Watching... Mike and I got a redbox on Saturday and watched "Noah". It was good. I liked it, but it didn't rock my world. There was som beautiful cinematography, but it was of course very hollywood in the plot, but still it was fun to see the story come alive on screen.

Listening to... This song right here. Grounds me. Its my Anthem.

Thankful For... My Alma Mater. I went to one kick-ass school. No Contest. It's the best.  We had an alumni event this weekend at the San Luis Rey Misiion in Oceanside, CA. The surroundings were GORGEOUS...hello!!

Mike and I both attended and met at Franciscan University. We grew into adults there, we were formed in our faith there, we expanded our minds there, we established friendships that will last forever there...it is and will be forever special to us. We are so grateful for all the gift this University has given us and will continue to give to so many for year and years and years...till the end of time ;)

What about you? What are you CURRENTLY up to?

  1. 'I didn't love more and then..." So right on. I love the way you put this.

Since having my daughter, I started listening to Christian music, and it's really the best decision for us both. If I'm having a bad day, it lifts me right up. Sometimes I'll start crying because I song will come on right when I need it. Times like those, I know God is watching over me.

Currently (currently), I'm watching my daughter eat breakfast and chastise the cats for being mean to each other :) Have a great Monday!

  2. Your kids are so adorable! It's so cute how they interact. We don't have kids yet, but I already am pretty sure that I want 2 so they can each have a sibling. I think that's so important.

  3. Hey Cassie! That campus is gorgeous....my sisters actually lived in Oceanside for many years so I've been out that way several times. And that song, so so good. Actually talked about it in a previous Currently post -- I just love it! Also, your thoughts on siblings is beautiful. My husband and I were just talking this weekend about more kids, when we should try for another baby and when we should try for adoption (and how to even go about that process!) There seemed to be so much to consider but at the end of the day we both agreed it's God's timing and in His hands, and we were just excited to see how our family will unfold in the coming years.
Okay, I guess we just had a lot in common from this post! Thanks for linking up!

  5. Stopping by from the currently link-up!

It's so cool that you're able to watch your little ones create a close relationship. I would love to see how my little Haley would do with a sibling. My fiancé and I are considering working on giving her one soon after our wedding in October, and I'm really excited about it. I have a brother who is very close in age with me, and we're extremely close. It would be amazing to watch a sibling relationship unfold between Haley and her future sibling(s).

  6. My brother & I are 7 years apart. I was always doing other things and then eventually moved out of the house. We never really bonded and he & I are completely different. But I am so glad that my children are close in age, 2 1/2 years apart and they have such an amazing bond. I am so grateful for that.

Stopping by from the link up. I am Becky with Choose Happy :)
