I am happy to be bringing you this series for the rest of the week to inspire you and give you some ideas to keep this gift giving season simple and special....all while being budget friendly. I wrote not to long ago about my desire to keep things in our life focused, clutter free and simple. I am gift giver by nature (our whole family is) so Christmas is exciting and yet sometimes very overwhelming, so I am trying to really keep gifts thoughtful and hand make them if possible. I believe handmade gifts can be very special and also very budget friendly!

I have teamed up with my friend Morgan, from Pepper Design Blog, to bring you some handmade gift inspiration! There will also be an Etsy Shop feature everyday throughout this series, to give you some shopping ideas and an opportunity to support handmade if your not the DIY type =)

I love giving and receiving gifts that just keep giving....plants!  Here are a few cute and easy gifts you can throw together, especially on a budget!

And don't forget to support local and handmade during the holidays! Our Etsy Shop feature today has the most adorable infinity scarves, please check it out and support her!

Kristi is the voice behind making it in the mountains where she blogs about turning her builder basic home into a rustic, mountain retreat!

Mountain Top Sweet was born from a love for accessories and a growing collection of {stunning} fabrics that I couldn’t possibly pass by!!! I love the way that just wrapping an infinity scarf around my neck can instantly make me feel trendy and put together! It was only natural that I turn these gorgeous fabrics into pieces that I couldn’t wait to wear!

In this brand spankin’ new Etsy shop, you’re sure to find something to love no matter what your style or budget! Most of these luxurious fabrics are custom printed, which means that you won’t find these lovely {infinity scarves} ANYWHERE ELSE! Due to the nature of working with custom fabrics, stock in each style is EXTREMELY limited, so if you fall in love with something, be sure to scoop it up before it is gone!
