Love Birds :: Bridal Shower

I grew up very close with family friends, the Johnston Family, they had girls the same age as me and boys the same age as my brother, so we did everything together....and still do! The girls are more like sisters, I am proud to be adopted into their family. The middle Johnston brother is getting married in November and so the Johnston gals wanted to throw a bridal shower for their soon-to-be sister, and I was asked to do the decorating! YEAH!!! I was pumped! It has been awhile since we have done a bridal shower, since baby showers and sprinkles have been our lives the past 5 years...I was very excited for the change! We went with a "Love Birds" theme and here is some of the vintage, antique, and of course birdie details.

My favortie detail was making these personalized straws. I LOVE paper straws and the pop of color and pattern they give to what would have been just a boring drinking glass. 

Making these straws was SO easy. Straws + Washi Tape and a little trimming with scissors and poof, done! You can add names yourself or just have people add their own. 

Its a perfect personal touch to any party!

Cannot wait for the big day in November! It was an honor to love on the bride to be!
