This lovely woman has been on this earth for 80 years and gosh darn it that should be celebrated! My Grandma is an extrodinary person that has a heart I think as big as the ocean, loves everyone she meets profoundly and is not afraid to speak about Jesus any chance she gets. I am happy I was able to think up the small details of her big day that hopefully made a big impact.  Hope you have ball...

beach balls for decor and for all the kids to play with!

Gumballs as a  little "thank you" favor for people to take as much as they wanted! String mini beach balls to make a garland. Served my grandma's favorite drink, a Manhattan and also Margaritas in mason jar drink dispensers to keep up with the "ball" mason jar theme.

So Happy to have my friend Kevin's business, Dang Brother Pizza, cater this event! We had 80 people crammed in my mom's backyard! 80 people for 80 years, I thought that was pretty profound!

To light up 80 candles on a cake would be a little crazy, but we wanted to create a real visual of the 80 years of life my Grams has celebrated. SO I made these birthday candles/protectors and distributed them to every guest at the party, right before we sung happy birthday (have to give props to the hubby for this idea, it was completely his, when he has a good idea, its a grand one!).  They were all lite, and I was able to squeeze in a few words of how Grandmas is a light in so many people's lives. These candles only represent a fraction of people she has touched. We sang Happy Birthday....and.....

 She had to blow out all the candles ;) I think she was touched, it was a really cool sight. 

The moment the kids were waiting for, "Happy Birthday" and cupcakes! These ones were lovingly 

decorated by the great grandkids!

Frozen Party // Gigi's 5th Birthday Party

Our baby girl, Gigi, turned 5 this past weekend and it is of no surprise she requested a FROZEN themed birthday party. It was so fun for me to really dive into the details, I hope you enjoy.

Birthday Princess Elsa

The Amazing Arendelle Castle was painted by Gigi's grandma who was visiting from Florida and as you can see is an incredible artist....I put her right to work...she made the personalized sign with Gigi's name too!  I made the "Let it Go sign"...I love it so much I might just sneak it into our room. shh don't tell Mike. The tassel garland is actually made form crepe paper (streamers) so it was really quick and easy, check out how here.

I seriously could not come up with anything cute or witty for Anna, Mike came up with it and we stuck to it. Label Printables can be found here. 

Gigi's "Thank You" favors were the build a snowman baggies.... she passed them out at the end and the kids loved them! Printable can be found here.

Yooohooo Big Summer Blowout!!!! Well Gigi wanted a FROZEN party, but her birthday is in August...So  a "frozen" water park it is....some people are worth melting for ;)

The WATER BLOB. Best thing about the day, hands down! I will have a tutorial up soon on how to make one, but its just a normal piece of plastic+water. It did eventually spring a leak, but it only added to the fun, the water didn't gush out like I thought it would, it just would splash out with the movement...the important thing is that is lasted the whole party...holes and all!

Frozen Toys! Elsa magically froze toys for all the kids at the party....hmmm I wonder how that happened?! ;) I bought some small toys at the 99 cent store (planes for boys, small tiaras for girls) and froze enough for one per child. They had to get it out anyway they could....hitting it with a hammer, throwing it on the ground, letting it melt on the hot concrete, they kids really had a fun time figuring it out and discovering the happy surprise inside...just for them!

Sponge Bombs and Shower Element. The shower element (liter bottle+hose+special attachment) at the party was also a lot of fun for the kids, they were able to get really wet and splash each other!

The Cake. The anticipation is finally over. You got your magical cake Gigi!

HUGE thank you to my friend, Stephanie, for making this incredible cake! I do not know why, but I always panic when it comes to making the cake...it is the one thing I ask any generous friend to do for me!....it is the one thing I am nervous about doing, and the one thing that is SO important to Gigi (and most kids, needing a sugar rush!)

Daddy to the rescue of a Pinata that could not be broken.....or I just ran out of patience! 

Happy Birthday Gigi, sweet girl, it was such a wonderful day! We love you so much!

Stop #4 and now up to date brings us to Gigi's 4th birthday party. My cute nephew has his birthday a week and half before Gigi's so I was excited this year to combine their big days into one epic party...and one really fun theme....Princess and Pirate party! Enjoy the craziness.

Our friends surprised Gigi and dressed up for the themed birthday party...SO awesome! G absolutely loved it!

For lunch my friend Kevin owns and runs a Pizza food truck business. Take on old fashion firetruck, throw a wood burning oven in the back and then you would have Dang Brother Pizza! Ridiculously good and the kids had a TON of fun making their own personal pizzas...plus the presence of the firetruck was an added bonus!

Even little Charlie made it to the party.....6 months in uetero right there.....it looks like I ate too much pizza

My sister-in-law is 7 months pregnant...with TWINS in this picture! She totally rocked it like no other! Doesn't she look amazing?!

 Just so happened to be matching with my girl. Love it when that happens. Happy 4th birthday sweet girl....I cannot believe you are turning 5 in a little more then a week! Where does the time go?!
